Biography: Claire Siepser is from Oregon and Pennsylvania and currently living in Alabama where she co-founded an artists collective called the Alabama Art Kitchen and is obtaining her MFA in book arts and printmaking. She is trying to make her way magically through the world as a bookmaking, installation, and printmaking artist. Her work explores sincerity, accessibility, approachability, healing, activism and sustainability (see statement). She doesn’t like to use fancy art words and often she imagines dinosaurs and unicorns falling in love.
