American artist Claire Siepser obtained their MFA in book arts and MA in printmaking from the University of Alabama after a BA in French Literature from Reed College. They currently reside in Oakland, California. They have exhibited internationally and her work is held by numerous Special Collections including The Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Yale, Duke, UCLA, and the Kinsey Institute. They are heavily involved in community arts including founding and directing an artist collective for two years. Their work primarily explores play, mental health, interactivity, accessibility, healing, activism, and alternative ways to approach art. (see statement). They don’t like to use fancy art words and often imagines dinosaurs and unicorns falling in love.
